110 Above Festival Announce 2021 Line Up
110 Above Festival, often described as “Indie’s best kept secret”, have released their first 30 acts for their 2021 edition. The festival is taking place between 12th-15th August and is hoping that after their successful fundraiser and the intimate and socially-distanced ‘Camp-over’ sessions back in September of this year, we can expect the farm to be back to its full capacity by the time Summer ’21 rolls around with the recent news of vaccinations.
Starting off back in 2009 as Lain Fest (named after the family who has organised this festival since its fruition), it has developed each year to become a birthplace to many of the most hyped acts within the indie scene such as Easy Life, Sundara Karma, Peace and many others, with the festival being their first for many of them. It allows for people to connect with and discover artists in an intimate setting, whilst also having the authentic festival feel to it, perfect for first timers as well as families. With the attendance capped at around 1,000 attendees, it is a privilege to be able to interact with some of your favourite artists in a laid-back setting which is not possible at some of the other bigger festivals.
And next year will be no different, with the incredible Sports Team, off the back of their tight race against Lady Gaga for number one earlier this year, as well as 110 veterans Sundara Karma and the festival’s newbies The Amazons all headlining the main stage across the weekend which will be a weekend to remember no doubt.
Alongside the three big headliners, the line-up includes VEVO Discover 2021 artists Alfie Templeman and Olivia Dean, as well as, The Pale White, Yonaka, The Snuts, Vistas, Larkins and Oscar Lang. The line-up also includes some of the festivals favourites such as Bloxx, Apre, Kawala, Abbie Ozard, Lauran Hibberd and Deco. Others include Noisy, Andrew Cushin, Coach Party, The Clause and many more.
With other acts to be announced, as well as the Old Town Hall headliners, it will no doubt be a great year for the festival and attendees alike.
