With influence from The Stone Roses, The Cure and The Smiths, Dublin’s The Temps’ ‘breezy-indie pop’ has earned them radio support in Ireland as well as some solid support slots. Made up of Owen Soper, Alex Smirnov, Conor Kennedy and Chris Bradshaw, the four piece have just released their brand new single, Fadin’.
Starting out with a chilled but cheery riff, Fadin’ has an instantly pleasing sound. Laid back vocals and a steadied drum beat keep that chilled feel throughout the 3 mins and 52 seconds of the track. It’s pleasantly simple indie pop, with just that cheerful jangly riff alone being enough to create a laid back atmosphere with enough energy to avoid becoming boring.
