The stunning voice of Sharaya Summers has developed from singing in churches to singing in bars. Born just outside of Portland, Sharaya relocated to Nashville to learn about songwriting before basing herself in LA. Now beginning her solo career with her stunning debut, Light Of The Moon.
The debut is the perfect display of Sharaya’s beautiful, melodic vocals. It’s simple, laid-back indie pop full to the brim with emotion. Lines like “The Nightingale sings his song regardless. The flowers bloom and they don’t ask “why?”. Making mistakes guess the point is that we tried” prove her songwriting ability, with shimmering beats and a hint of acoustic guitar simply finishing the track perfectly. Light Of The Moon is simple in the best of ways, and a mature sounding debut for an artist so early in their career.
