Louis Clark, Ellis Ferrington, Oli Mitchell and Lee Campbell make up the most exciting band to come out of Stockport recently, Scarlet Fever. Influenced by the likes of Arctic Monkeys and The White Stripes, the four piece’s youthful rock sound has seen them begin to make a name for themselves amongst Manchester’s packed music scene, and release their debut single You Really Don’t Know.
It's a strong debut from such a young band; kicking off with an intense, in your face riff, the four waste no time in grabbing your attention. The vocals of Louis Clark add to the intensity of that opening riff in an almost haunting style, a welcome change from the usual typically Northern sound of Manchester’s newest bands. Scarlet Fever have their own confidence about them, giving them a raw edge which a lot of new bands are lacking.
