Previously tipped by the likes of Fred Perry Subculture and BBC Introducing, West Midlands trio The Americas have already played sets at the likes of Y Not, Truck and Isle of Wight Festivals, and made their European debut in Paris. The trio have recently announced the release of their six track EP, Guitar Music Is Dead. The band will release three new singles, taken from the EP and each to be released over the next three months; with the entire EP following on September 7th.
Come On Out is the first track to be taken from Guitar Music Is Dead, offering a taste of what’s to come from The Americas. Sticking to their 70s, American pop-culture influences, the track possesses The Americas’ signature sound. Heavenly melodies meet with bluesy, soothing vocals to create a classic rock n roll edge. Back that edge up with an oozing confidence and the trio have created an effortlessly cool track which is bound to build excitement towards the release of their full EP.
