The Surrenders - Shouldn't Have To Dig

With previous single No Paper earning Dudley quartet The Surrenders a spot as This Feeling’s ‘Track Of The Week’ on Radio X and a place on the infamous promoter’s stages at the likes of Truck Festival and Y Not, it’s been a busy year for Connor Brooks, Richard Jones, James Williams and Scott Flavell.

Shared alongside a video from Sam Crowston (The Blinders), Shouldn’t Have To Dig is the latest offering from the fast rising four piece. Clearly influenced by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, The Surrenders’ sound is a heavenly blend of blues, soul and rock. Shouldn’t Have To Dig bleeds with addictive riffs and bolshy vocals, offering an infectious insight into the nostalgic sounding potential which The Surrenders possess so much of.
