Heading into it’s second year in it’s new home amongst Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, Sound City returns to Merseyside this May bank holiday (4th & 5th May) for a weekend packed with some of the best emerging talent from both the UK and overseas.
Following the success of 2018’s sold out return to Liverpool’s city centre, the festival’s 12th edition will take place across various venues in the city’s ever growing cultural hub, The Baltic Triangle; and is already set for another sold out weekend.
This year will see a more diverse lineup than in previous editions, with headline sets coming from Mabel and Loyle Carner, who are joined by the likes of Blaenavon, The Magic Gang, Shame and Confidence Man for the weekend’s main slots.
Headliners aside, on 4th and 5th of May Sound City will also play host to showcases and late night parties from the likes of Closeup Promotions, Modern Sky, DIY, Gigwise and End Of The Trail Creative to name a few, bringing a whole host of emerging talent to the city.
Weekend tickets are on sale now for just £55, as well as day tickets and Sound City + packages, which include access to Friday’s Sound City Conference and sets from Clean Cut Kid and SOAK.
Tickets for 2019’s Sound City are available here.
