Cult London based outfit Blackaby have dropped the title track from their forthcoming debut EP, What’s On The TV? which is set for release on 24th July.
“It’s a silly song about funny moments, sad moments, the sick love of food and uncertain love. It’s short so you don’t get bored.” tells the band’s William Blackaby.
What’s On The TV? makes for incredibly easy listening. Pop-punk guitar backs an incredibly addictive, building rhythm, exactly the loveable kind to cause pure chaos in any live setting. Add Blackaby’s singalong, Vaccines-esque vocals and what you get is a nostalgic blend of pop-punk and 2000s indie pop which hits right in the sweet spot.
