Climbing to the top of the pile of the plethora of 2020’s breakthrough artists, Leeds quartet Eades are hot on the heels of their exceptional debut EP Microcosmic Things with one of their strongest singles to date, I Want More.
Showing yet another side to a band constantly switching things up, I Want More steers Eades more towards the garage/punk side of their indie-rock sound while remaining distinctly themselves. It’s a bit fuzzy, a bit catchy and a bit brilliant - everything we’ve come to love from the Leeds lads.
Lead vocalist Harry Jordan explains; “When we wrote’ I Want More’ I was in a pretty strange place, working a real dead end job just doing what I could to stay in Leeds and make music. I guess it reflects pretty well about how we all felt as musicians - finishing uni, feeling a bit lost and wanting more from life than the rat race our friends around us were joining.”
