Riding on the high of 2020's 'Garden' EP, London punk-duo Exit Kid have unveiled their first new music of the year, 'Munny'.

A testament to the pair's ability to discuss important themes through their very own blend of indie and grunge influences; the new cut, mixed by Tarek Musa of Spring King and produced by Robin Schmidt is a whole world of deep grooving talent.

From its sultry, writhing bass and pounding drum beat to the subtle intensity of its vocals – 'Munny' is gritty punk of the highest quality. With each listen comes a hooking new element, each of which effortlessly build upon each other to create one powerful piece of indie-punk.

Speaking about the track, Emre Türkmen explains: “‘Munny’ is an exhausted rant about the continued blurring of the lines between truth and lies. I felt compelled to vomit the words whilst watching the US election and the storming of the Capitol building. The profiteering from such things by the likes of our old chum Facebook is maddening but seems to me a time-honoured capitalist tradition. Most people talk a good game, but when the time comes vote for their own self interest."
