Foxglove - Bright Lights

Manchester indie-pop quartet Foxglove continue to grow their following in the North and beyond with their new, nostalgically influenced single Bright Lights.

An honest memoir about being blinded to remember only the good times, and forgetting the bad, the track takes influence from everything from The 1975 and Fickle Friends to Prince and Kylie Minogue, making for an uplifting pop cut with a surprisingly distinct Manchester feel.

Abi details: “This track was all about hitting that nostalgic feeling and that's what we feel whenever we play this track. It's a very anthemic song within the choruses, weaving in the 90's distorted feeling. The rest of the track feels like an 80's synth ballad, with big hard hitting snares and glittery guitars. The track is an amalgamation of our favourite genres from when we were growing up.”
