girlhouse Shares Vibrant New Bedroom-Pop Cut 'loaded gun'

Having featured in the NBC series ‘Grimm’, lives in Portland, Bristol, LA, New York and Nashville and performed on Broadway (via a performance for Barack Obama at The White House), Lauren Luiz - also known as girlhouse has seemingly done it all.

Now based in Nashville, she turns her attention to the release of her debut EP, ‘the girlhood ep’ - due for release on 14th May.

Possessing an air of Phoebe Bridgers and Snail Mail, ’loaded gun’ is a fresh glimpse into Lauren’s EP, and a vulnerable yet vibrant example of her warm and soothing bedroom pop - of which she says: “The last single before the EP, "loaded gun" is about inherited trauma and the bummer of becoming everything you said you never would. I feel like forgiving people from your past for abuse or neglect that happened to you when you were young and vulnerable is SO important to start forgiving yourself, this song is a moment when I recognized inherited bad behavior and wanting to take control of my future."
