Hippo Campus are back! The US indie-faves have announced their first new 'proper' material since 2018's 'Bambi' - a new EP, 'Good Dog, Bad Dream' set for release on 6th August.

With the news comes the bubbling new single 'Bad Dream Baby'; introducing a darker, more cathartic side to their songwriting than we've heard before. Loaded with a new found confessional sense of humour and stupidly infectious rhythm - it's nothing short of exciting.

Speaking on the track, lead singer Jake Luppen explains: “The lyrics are a stream of consciousness, darting between my complex relationship with my father, a Britney Spears documentary, and some older men at Grumpy's (my favorite bar in Minneapolis) who used to hit on me. The hook references my exit from the Mormon religion when I was 15 and the isolation felt during quarantine and the death of the dog my mom got me during my parents’ intense divorce.”
