HYYTS fall head over heels in love on new track 'Hold On Cowboy'

A glance into a forthcoming EP, 'Helluvatime' due 4th June – Glasgow pop duo HYYTS have shared a new single, 'Hold On Cowboy'.

In keeping with the pair's ambitious, euphoric take on pop; 'Hold On Cowboy' finds Adam and Sam caught up in the rush and excitement of falling in love.

“‘Hold On Cowboy’ is our anthem for getting carried away and falling in love instantly. The inspiration from the song came from my real life relationship- I was working the first time I met my girlfriend and I served her in the bar where I worked but I don’t remember it! And then the second time I met her I fell head over heels cos I’m super dramatic and I couldn’t believe I’d met her before and not realised how perfect she is. And we just love cowboys so we used that phrase in the chorus lol. But we’re constantly getting carried away with ourselves so we thought we’d write a song about it. And it’s probably my fave HYYTS song ever!”, tells Adam.

It's yet another exemplary single from HYYTS – swirling with electro-pop beats and tender, atmospheric melodies; there's no doubt that 'Hold On Cowboy' will play yet another vital, defining step in the duo's journey to the recognition they are endlessly deserving of.

Speaking about the forthcoming 'Helluvatime', Adam continues; “We are so stupidly excited to be releasing our new EP. People have been saying it for years but love is absolutely f***ing mental. When it’s good, it’s a hell of a time and when it’s bad it’s hell. This EP shows both of those sides and flips it backwards just to wrench your emotions even more. With everything we do, this EP is about communication and trying to make it easier for everyone to get through difficult times by laughing about them, singing about them, dancing to them.”
