Joining the new wave of exciting, impossible-to-define-yet-somehow-pop artists; Leeds newcomer JWestern has shared his first new music of the year, 'Aspirin' via Manchester tastemaker label Heist or Hit.

Continuing to explore his insecurities and overthinking; 'Aspirin' finds John Goodings' UK indie influences colliding with the woozy, US pop of Omar Apollo and Roy Blair to walk the blurred line between alt-pop and R&B. It's a kicked back little number loaded with washed out guitars and buoyant beats which sets JWestern apart from his Northern counterparts – and all in all, a very easy and pleasing listen.
