Those oh so loveable Yorkshire boys Marsicans have wasted no time in making 2020 their own. With a record deal signed with Killing Moon for the release of their debut album, slots at SXSW secured, and their second single of the year just dropped, it’s time for indie-pop’s most uplifting four-piece to shine.
Juliet is the sound of Marsicans coming into their own. Their signature sunny, upbeat and fun-filled take on indie-pop remains as true to itself as it was back in 2016, but has grown to boast bigger choruses, bigger energy and more confidence than ever before.
Juliet sounds like everything Marsicans do best, but backed by even more enthusiasm and excitement than we’ve heard before. If January and February are anything to go by, 2020 is set to be the year of Marsicans.
