Ottawa's fanclubwallet re-emerges with dazzling new single 'That I Won't Do'

Ottawa based alt-pop artist Hannah Judge is set to win hearts in the masses with the arrival of her debut album in 2022. Following the release of her debut EP, 'Hurt Is Boring' earlier this year, the Canadian newcomer has unveiled a dazzling new single in the form of 'That I Won't Do'.

Written while Judge was re-learning how to socialise and re-enter the world following a flare-up of Crohn's disease which left her bed-ridden in her childhood home for 10 months, the new cut is a stunning exploration of new relationships and finding the right balance between good and bad – as Hannah herself explains; "When I wrote “That I Won’t do” I was recovering from a year long illness and re entering into the socializing world (like so many others post pandemic). The song is about dealing with a new relationship/friendship where you aren’t sure wether the person is good for you or not, and you’re not feeling like yourself. It’s about trying to break bad habits while not wanting to break them at all"

The fuzzy, atmospheric tones of 'That I Won't Do' create a warming ambient feel while airy beats add a subtly uplifting energy to Judge's soothing melancholy vocals. It's a remarkable re-emergence from an artist with masses of potential, and an appetite-whetting glimpse into what promises to be an incredible debut album when it arrives in 2022.
