OXYGYN Drop New Electro-Pop Single 'Mercy'

OXYGYN are back with a bang, in the shape of the powerful and angsty new track, 'Mercy'. The stylish Maltese indie-pop outfit have been producing hit after hit since 2015, and with each release have refined their style to what is now best described as a polished, modern alt-pop dream with an edge.

With an alluring anger-led narrative and an undeniably punchy rhythm, 'Mercy' is a catchy balance of alluring vocals delivered by sibling duo Katia and Kurt Abela, and truly slick instrumentation.

The guitar line is poignant and clean, and thanks to the immaculate production of the track, has time to breathe among the bountiful tuneful layers of clean synths. The song holds its own with the consistently relatable lyrics and great listenability regardless of personal mood.

Unsurprisingly set to continue climbing the ranks in their native Malta, OXYGYN are also gaining traction with recent recognition in the UK, including support from BBC Introducing.
