The Novus - Man On The Bridge

The Novus are back with a rather upbeat track, Man on the Bridge, produced by Gavin Monaghan (The Blinders, Sherlocks and many more) at Magic Garden Studios. Filled with infectious guitar riffs that make you wish you were moshing away with your mates, the band are planning to host their own headline event in September in line with social distancing guidelines.

“We wrote this song in the van on the way home after we came down from Stourbridge to play a gig in Camden and saw this old guy (in his underpants when we saw him) dancing his heart out by the bridge at Camden Lock and apparently he's been doing it for years” The band explain the background behind the rather unexpected song inspiration.

Whilst not as politically charged as some of The Novus’ discography, with front man Connor being an ex-member of the youth parliament, it still fits perfectly with their punk infused sound and image that makes them one of the most prominent bands to be emerging from the Birmingham scene at the moment.
