Maintaining the momentum gained through the success of previous singles Feel Good and Leaving, London-based quartet The Pylons now share their latest song Grumble; an uplifting anthem that delivers immaculate vocal harmonies and boasts layer upon layer of instrumentation, resulting in one of their finest releases yet.
Though citing artists such as Bombay Bicycle Club, Tame Impala and Everything Everything as influences, The Pylons retain their own unique sound and identity, aided by the wide-ranging musical abilities of each member. Such musicianship is a real string to their bow, helping them stand out as being genuinely different in the best way possible.
Having already received support for their music from both BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6, the band are keen to continue growing. Fortunately for them their music has put them firmly on the industry’s radar, which has led to them working with Michael Smith of RYP Recordings (Anteros, Wolf Alice, Honey Lung). With such support it is only a matter of time before The Pylons receive the attention that they deserve.
