The Leeds music scene is far from lacking, but there's not many doing it quite like Eades. Fast becoming a force to be reckoned with, the five-piece have today announced their highly anticipated debut effort 'Delusion Spree'.
Promising a collective of genre-sprawling hits loaded with fuzzy, grunge-like textures and garage-rock flare, the album is due on March 4th via Northern staple label Heist or Hit. 'Ever Changing', released today offers an excitement-inducing taste of what's to come – a punchy, high energy smash, it possesses the unease of modern youth in effortlessly joyful style.
"At that time I was finding myself in a lot of situations with self-involved characters that I had no interest in, purely because they’re an easy distraction from everything I didn’t want to think about." tells lyricist Tom O'Reilly. "I kept jumping from toxic relationships to chaotic friendships without thinking I could take a step back and centre myself to actually tackle real problems. ‘Ever changing’ is about burying my head in the sand and avoiding real issues in my life. It’s about finding new ways to procrastinate and change to make each day feel more exciting than it really is.”
'Delusion Spree' arrives in 2022 via Heist or Hit, in the meantime, catch Eades live in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol and London before the year is out.
