Many festivals have their flaws, but Oxfordshire's Truck Festival are maintaining their rep for being one of the UK's best indie weekenders despite being forced to cancel two years in a row.

Tackling Hill Farm with their 25th Anniversary edition from 22nd-24th July, the festival's first line up announcement for 2022 is nothing short of glorious. Bombay Bicycle Club retain their spot as headliners, this time joined by Sam Fender, Kasabian, Blossoms and The Kooks.

Elsewhere, familiar faces Sigrid, Easy Life, Inhaler and Sports Team join Kelis, Sundara Karma, The Magic Gang and Alfie Templeman while new names shine bright in the form of Matilda Mann, Baby Queen, Lauran Hibberd, April and swim school.

Speaking about the news, festival organiser Conor Burns said: “It's been a very long time coming but it feels so good to be back and we're over the moon to finally announce the first wave of artists for our 25th Edition! To have four of our all-time favourites sharing headliner duties is a real privilege. Sam Fender, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Kooks and Kasabian to close off the Sunday night, Truck Festival 2022 is already proving to be one for the history books.

We're also thrilled to welcome back Blossoms to our Thursday night headliner slot, Sigrid on our sunset slot and, of course, personal favourites Yard Act and Orla Gartland amongst many others. Hill Farm has been a tad quiet and we can't wait to throw the ultimate birthday bash - see you at the bar?”
