Leeds quintet Van Houten are back. Re-emerging with a brand new single released via Yorkshire tastemaker label Clue Records, the band provide a blissful slacker-pop soundtrack in the form of 'IDK'.

A hazy, fondly familiar number; 'IDK' transports us straight to sun-soaked summer days, soothing the ears with a warming medley of woozy guitars and loosely-flowing organs. It's a strong step forward for the band, akin to the likes of Mac DeMarco and Yellow Days while still very much their own.

It’s about feeling stuck insome kind of cycle and reluctantly accepting the fact that you have no real control over what is next." explain the band. "I think this past year and the feelings felt around this really inspired the feeling of being at the mercy of the world around me and not the other way around."
