Wasuremono are curators of eclectic indie offerings. From the mind of William Southward, the group’s series of eclectic tracks have quickly taken them to the very centre of modern indie. Nothing proves this more than the success of their last album ‘Are You OK?’ bubbly, heartful works which quickly got added to playlists everywhere. Now, the group are back with their latest single ‘An Ordinary Life’, a bouncy track that evokes adventure in both its musical, and emotional content, and signals the band's continued evolution.

An unstoppable beat opens the track, instantly giving the impression that we the listener are being taken on a road trip. Aided by deep string samples played over adoring harmonies, Southward describes the oceans to houses littered in his ordinary life with a noticeable, charming drawl, while sampling and textural sounds play underneath. But even in the frenzy of noise, there is a sense that we are right there with him, swept up in adventure the track evokes. It’s a release that evokes a movie montage, and strives to take the listener away today where the whole world is at the palm of your hands. In these current times it’s a very needed offering, and one whose relentless optimism will stay with listers long after hearing it.

The band have also confirmed details of a UK headline tour for October, which will take them from Leicester to Bristol, via the likes of Liverpool, Leeds and London.
